This program will try to recover passwords from shared resourceson Windows network Neighborhood. It exploits a bug known as"share Level Password Vulnerability" in Windows 9x/ME. Thisexploit lets you gain access to shares only knowing the firstcharacter of the password. It does not work on Win9x/ME systemsthat are patched, and it won't work on NT-based systems such asWindows 2000 or XP as they use user level shares....

This program enumerates all shared disks found on your local networkusing the Win32 API function called WNetEnumresource. When all resourcesavailable have been collected, it will try to recover the passwords from thepassword protected shares. It was written to exploit a bug in Windows 9x/MEthat allowed a user to enter a share only knowing the first character ofthe password. Because of this, it won't work on Windows NT/2000/XP or9x/ME machines that have been patched....
