It removes the mouse pointer (the mouse cursor does not cover theentered text) while you are working with the keyboard and returns the pointer with any mouse action. To be or not to be (already typing)? For URL checking you have to take mouse and move the mouse pointer to the side ofthe screen. With Cursor hider the mouse pointer disappears after first (or second in unregistered version) keystrokes and nothing blocks theURL now. You can turn off the mouse pointer completely.
